Registered Dietitian (Schools)

Sodexo has an exciting new opportunity for a Full-time, year-round Registered Dietitian 3 to support a K-12 School District in the Vancouver, WA area. This position will work serve as the nutrition expert for the district, working closely with operators and students to provide nutritional guidance and menu support.
The ideal candidate will:
- Assist in menu development, nutrient analysis and management of nutritional information;
- Provide leadership and supervision for the on-site food service staff;
- Ensure operating standards and regulatory requirements are met;
- Source the right portfolio of products and services to create the best value;
- Collaborate with staff, faculty, parent groups and community leaders to meet wellness goals and implement innovative, hands-on learning programs that incorporate food and nutrition within regular curriculum;
- Be proficient with utilizing social media tools;
- Be responsible for all special diets required by the district; and/or
- Comply with all local, state and federal regulations as it relates to school nutrition.
Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who:
- Are a Registered Dietitian and licensed in WA state;
- Have experience developing and translating health-conscious menus;
- Are an expert on dietary preferences and allergies;
- Have the proven ability to effectively engage, motivate and influence others regarding their nutrition;
- Have strong presentation skills;
- Have demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities with the ability to adapt the changing needs of the role;
- Have a history of working independently with little direction; and/or
- Have a commitment to continued education in the nutrition field and implementation of new and innovative ideas to implement.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics
