BSI Components and Repair (BSI) is a small company seeking an experienced Sales Representative to contribute to the company's sales objectives, including expansion in the wind and solar.
The responsibilities include managing and growing our house accounts and soliciting new wind and solar business opportunities within the US and Canada geographic markets.
The Sales Representative will use creativity and thorough knowledge of sales processes to provide innovative ideas for business growth.
Communication and team management skills are also essential for this position.
Generally, developing and maintaining successful relationships with large, distributed customers in multiple industries is the goal of the position.
Key
Responsibilities:
Secure current book of business by maintaining and strengthening established customer relationships.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities.
Negotiate and close agreements with large customers.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
Provide timely and effective solutions that meet customer needs.
Qualifications and Skills:
Displays high standards of ethical conduct.
Exhibits honesty and integrity.
The candidate must have a strong sales background and a significant track record in technical or commercial customer communications.
Experience drafting and processing a customer request for a proposal (RFP).
Experience negotiating terms of a master services agreement (MSA).
Able to travel up to 20%.
Experience in the Wind Energy industry is a big plus.
Experience in industries with high utilization of circuit boards (e.
g.
, robotics, automation, machine vision).
Bachelor's degree in sales, electrical or electronic engineering.
Experience identifying new business opportunities and initiating customer contact, including cold calling.
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to understand technical language and recognize and differentiate technical issues.
Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving attitude.
Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills.
Strong communicator between peers and management.
Ability to perform under high pressure and dynamic work environment managing multiple deliverables.
Experience working with a CRM software tool.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Compensation and
Benefits:
Base salary up to $90,000 to $100,000.
Commission-based pay for performance Health Insurance and HSA Plan.
