You should be someone who prefers to work outside, likes long walks with 10-15 friends (dogs of all sizes and ages), would rather mow grass than sit at a desk, thinks dirt is cool, isn't afraid of a little poo or dog hair or drool, prefers dogs over most people, is strong enough to move heavy stuff, is considerate of others, has great work ethics and likes to work as a team.
We are a dog boarding/training/daycare facility on 5 fully fenced acres.
We walk dogs (off leash) in groups of 5-20, we do a little training and work on manners, we play a lot.
This job can be both physically and mentally demanding, there are a lot of moving parts that need to be constantly tended too.
To succeed you must have strength in both areas.
Our schedules are a bit crazy and adjust to the number and energy of the dogs.
Our days start at 6am and end at 9pm, shifts are typically 4-8 hours.
We take care of the needs of the dogs as a team so the schedule can change weekly.
That said we can work around some things and believe that work/life balance is important.
You must be available to work both weekends and evening shift To apply for this position please send an email telling us a little about you, your work history and why you would like to work at a kennel.
Please try Not to say its because you love dogs.

We are unable to hire anyone under the age of 17 and we are not on the bus line so you will need reliable transportation (it's not bike friendly either).
