Responsibilities:
Take the lead in re-establishing our in-person speech therapy (currently only virtual services are offered).
Our clinic has offered speech therapy services since 2017, however we have only offered virtual speech therapy services since COVID and our families are hungry for in-person services.
We have an abundance of referrals and you will have the opportunity to help the owners to create the speech department with your vision! We would love to have a speech therapy team of 2-3 therapists.
Evaluate individuals 0-18 year to determine the need for speech, language, or feeding therapy services Develop treatment plans and administer therapy services to individuals ages 0-18 in the areas of speech, language, and feeding.
Complete daily notes, progress notes, evaluations, and discharge summaries in a timely fashion meeting all insurance and licensure requirements.
Provide consistent caregiver education to support therapy goals.
Collaborate with members of the patient's care team as necessary in a timely fashion.
Maintain cleanliness of therapy areas and office areas used by the clinician
Job Description:
We are seeking a Speech and Language Pathologist to work a full time and we will consider part time hours (minimum of 0.
7 FTE) for the right candidate to provide in-person therapy services.
This therapist will have the exciting opportunity to re-establish our in-person speech therapy services using their creativity and vision.
The ideal candidates will be skilled addressing therapeutic needs related to autism, social communication disorders, expressive and receptive language delays, developmental delays, processing disorders, learning disabilities, and ADHD.
Insurance credentialing is required which will delay start date for employment by 60 to 90 days on average.
SLP can start in their position 30 days after they accept their job offer at 1/2 of their contracted time during the credentialing process to complete other office work if they desire to start immediately.
Hours will be added to their schedules as insurance credentialing is completed.
The candidate would be guaranteed to be working their fully contracted hours within 90 days.
