TRAC Associates is currently recruiting for the Vancouver area - looking for Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) apprentices.
An apprenticeship offers paid, on-site training so you can learn and earn a wage at the same time.
Training is full-time and is for two years.

Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) duties can include:
POSITION
Summary:
This position counsels individuals and groups, provides assessment and insurance authorization, conducts utilization review, and provides educational presentations related to the treatment of substance use disorders.
DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Provides case management.
Maintains records in in accordance with agency standards and WACs.
Collects, organizes, and analyzes information about clients through records, tests, interviews, and collateral information to assess their strengths, needs, interests, abilities, preferences, and characteristics for individual service planning.
May conduct individual sessions and group counseling, as directed by clinical management.
Assists individuals to understand and overcome social and emotional barriers.
Coordinates client care with referents, families, employers, and other agencies.
Presents information related to substance use disorder and its treatment.
Conducts substance use disorder assessments in accordance with Washington Administrative Codes (WACs), the American Society of Addition Medicine (ASAM), authorization of insurance benefits, and utilization reviews.
Coordinates utilization reviews, authorizations and pre-authorizations of treatment services with managed care organizations and insurance companies by overseeing the assessment and authorization of services processes and following up with clinical and billing teams.
Assists in client staffing, general assemblies, and meetings.
Engages in professional development and continuing education activities to improve counseling techniques and keep current with new information in behavioral health.
In all tasks and duties, employees are expected to:
Perform quality work within deadlines.
Interact positively and professionally with clients, customers, referents, vendors, guests, and other employees.
Work effectively as a team contributor.
Work independently, while also collaborating, communicating, and coordinating with other employees and organizations.
Present in a professional manner, in appearance and communication.
Keep a neat, organized workspace.
Arrive at work daily on time for the scheduled shift and stay until the end of the shift.
Operates computer to enter and retrieve data.
Operates other office machines, such as telephone, calculator, fax machine, and copy machine.
Other related duties, as assigned.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
