Overview Description:
This Financial Analyst III position will provide support and assistance to the Transmission Asset Management, Business Delivery and Performance (TPW) organization at the client.
This position will perform financial data analysis and reporting; and, will gather, analyze and format a wide variety of data and reports on critical data metrics for Transmission Services.
The position will support the data integrity of the Transmission Services programs/budgets to include monitoring, analysis, timely reporting, data input and preparation of data reports (graphs, tables and reports) to the Transmission Vice Presidents (VP) and Senior VPs.
In addition, the position will facilitate internal process improvement projects and provide financial analysis and guidance on various business matters.
This position will also provide technical expertise for client business reporting.
This role will support a brand new organization, just being stood up, and will focus on expense reimbursables and overhead costs.
The position will make recommendations on how best to identify and recoup dollars currently being lost.
Initial work will include assistance with standing up the new organization, which may entail developing, roles, responsibilities, training, tracking, reporting, etc.
The first year will be testing what will and will not work - drafting and implementing standards, processes, procedures, reporting requirements, etc.
Requirements Education annd Corresponding Experience (required):
Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Accounting, Business Mathematics, or a closely-related technical field is required.
10 years of direct work experience in a financial analysis capacity or directly- related field is required.
Required Technical Skills and Experience (required):
Minimum 5 years of financial forecasting experience.
Experience applying a diversified knowledge of analysis principles and practices in assigned technical area.
Experience with an Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) system Skill in report development utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (e.
g.
Access, Excel, etc.
); PowerBI; and other reporting tools to create high level charts, graphs and dashboards.
Experience running queries, generating reports to support management, troubleshooting and resolving issues in an automated environment.
Experience researching data anomalies, evaluating information gathered (sometimes from multiple sources) and reconciling data conflicts.
Preferred Skills and Experience (optional):
Experience with Power BI.
Verbal and written skills sufficient to provide ongoing training and updates to managers, stakeholders and other customers.
Working knowledge of automated data systems.
Intermediate proficiency with MS Visio and Access.
Intermediate proficiency with SharePoint and project portfolio tools.
Recommended Skills Accounting Asset Management Business Intelligence Business Process Improvement Communication Dashboard Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
