Network Engineer

An employer is looking for a Network Engineer to join their team in Vancouver, WA.
This is a hybrid work environment and you will be required to be on-site three days a week and work remotely two days a week.
You will be joining the clients Infrastructure team which is seven employees.
The client is looking for a collaborative Network Engineer to support day to day network operations and addition to taking on new projects.
As this is a lean team, you will partner closely with a current network admin and be a second set of eyes for networking.
This is an enterprise environment and you will utilize the following tools:
Cisco (UCS, ASA, Meraki and Nexus switches); Palo Alto firewalls; and Forescout.
The client uses BGP and TCP/IP for protocols.
In this role, you will be responsible for a Cisco UCS migration for 750 devices, daily mobile device management and overall troubleshooting of the network.
You will also partner with the application team to discern network issues and find improvements.
- Experience working with Forescout - Experience conducting network architecture - 5
years of experience as a Network Administrator or Network Engineer - Advanced understanding of Cisco products including UCS, ASA, Meraki, and Nexus - Advanced understanding of OSI networking model, layers one through four - Understanding of BGP and TCP/IP - Experience managing Palo Alto firewalls - Familiarity with NAC (network access controls) and VMware Recommended Skills Access Network Border Gateway Protocol Cisco Cisco Nexus Switches Firewalls (Computer Science) Infrastructure Management Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
