SUMMARY This role will be responsible for managing recruiting and engagement efforts including partnering with the hiring managers to define positions, developing, and implementing candidate generation strategies to attract talent, and managing the interviewing and selection process.
This will also include managing and facilitating the onboarding process and experience for new employees as well as other employee engagement programs and activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Partner with hiring managers on a variety of searches, including hourly and salaried positions.
Communicate status regularly to hiring manager throughout the recruiting process.
Proactively identify issues and solicit feedback from the hiring manager to ensure that each search is on target.
Work with hiring managers to define positions for recruitment.
This includes contributing to developing and editing position descriptions and to defining candidate profiles.
Design and develop candidate generation plans (sourcing plans) designed to reach broad and diverse pools of candidates in an efficient manner.
Drive proactive outreach and implement effective job attraction and engagement strategies.
Establishes relationships with community groups and associations, including attending job fairs, attending conferences or with any organizations that support the bank.
Create recruitment branding to help drive attraction.
Identify and initiate contact with potential candidates, review resumes received for open positions and screen candidates effectively to recommend candidates for further team interviews.
Work with hiring managers to identify and prepare interview teams by managing discussions of position requirements, discussing effective interviewing techniques, and developing interviewing questions.
Manage the interviewing process in a way that is appropriate for each individual candidate and interview team.
Ensure that candidates are treated respectfully and have a positive experience.
Provide informed recommendations on candidate compensation to hiring managers and HR teammates involved in the offer process.
Manage the offer and closing process that is appropriate for each individual candidate.
Manage reference checks and background checking processes.
Track all recruiting activity using an online applicant tracking system, so that accurate recruiting data is collected that will support the continued analysis and improvement of recruiting and required compliance.
Regularly report recruitment activity to senior leadership and continuously improve metrics.
Develop and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires from offer acceptance, first day, through first 90 days employment.
Work with HR and business partners to build and maintain career pathing structures and processes.
Provide input in the development and manage the execution of company reward and recognition programs.
RELATIONSHIPS:
Frequent contact with Supervisor, Senior Management and/or branch/department managers in providing information regarding recruitment if they have an open job.
Frequent contact with members of professions with whom we have open jobs.
Daily contact with Supervisor to receive direction and interpretation of existing and new recruiting or HR policies or procedures.
Frequent interaction to discuss ongoing issues.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Three or more years Recruiting experience preferably in a banking or retail environment.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
SKILLS Ability to recruit for a wide variety of positions.
Ability to develop creative candidate generation plans for a variety of positions.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups, clients, customers, and the public.
Ability to interview effectively and provide guidance to hiring managers and interviewers in the development of interview competencies.
Ability to identify and solve various issues and problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with exceptional client management skills.
Ability to interpret a variety of input furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to perform short- and long-term planning to achieve bank and department goals.
Solid computer skills, including proficiency using MS Office.

The salary for this role will be between $64,833 and $94,656.
The specific salary offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to applicant's skills and prior relevant experience.
