You would train with our team in person at our Vancouver, WA office for eight (8) weeks before we set you free to work remotely from the comfort of your own home.
Your training schedule would be in office from 6:
00 AM - 3:
00 PM PST Monday-Friday for the first eight weeks, before switching to the fully remote night shift hours.
This position is 5 nights a week for 40 hours a week of work total shift 1 starting on Sunday at 5pm and ending on Friday at 2am and shift 2 starting Sunday at 8:
30pm and ends on Friday at 5:
30 am.
Daily Routine Monitoring and tracking shipments and providing timely updates to customers Building and managing relationships with our core carriers Negotiating competitive rates Building and booking shipments in our system Identify and communicate problems with carriers and customers and work towards a solution Quoting customers for freight movement Active problem solving with the ability to detect issues before they happen and resolve it Ensure customer needs are met with every shipment Prioritize and manage different tasks going on at once and completing them promptly Contact drivers and get the designated paperwork required for each shipment Ideal candidates would have the following:
MUST RESIDE IN EITHER OREGON OR WASHINGTON, AND BE ABLE TO TRAIN IN OFFICE FOR 8 WEEKS DURING REGULAR OFFICE HOURS BEFORE GOING TO THE FULL REMOTE AFTER-HOURS SCHEDULE Bachelor's Degree preferred Strong communication and negotiation skills Exceptional customer service mindset Ability to think outside the box and problem solving skills Competitive nature with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment Team player Highly motivated and ready to work hard/play hard Attention to detail and proficient in organizational skills Ability to multitask and work on several projects at the same time Good time management skills, with the ability to pivot to a different task at a moment's notice MS Office proficiency and related computer knowledge, ability to type at least 50 WPM.
