Inpatient Psychiatrist

Our client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Inpatient Staff Psychiatrist to join our client growing team.
As an Inpatient Staff Psychiatrist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality psychiatric care to patients admitted.

Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to assess patients' mental health status, including medical history, present symptoms, and psychosocial factors Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as medication management, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, to provide coordinated and holistic care to patients Monitor patients' progress throughout their inpatient stay, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes Provide education and guidance to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and strategies for relapse prevention Document all clinical activities accurately and in a timely manner, in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements Participate in treatment team meetings, case conferences, and other collaborative activities to ensure effective communication and continuity of care Stay current with the latest research and developments in the field of psychiatry.
Supervision available but not required.
On-call coverage available for an additional stipend, but not required.
Requirements:
Medical degree (MD or DO) and valid license to practice psychiatry Completion of residency training in psychiatry from an accredited program Board certification or board eligibility in psychiatry Licensed in the state of WA to practice or interest in attaining Strong clinical skills and expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of psychiatric disorders Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a diverse patient population Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build therapeutic rapport with patients from different backgrounds Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement Willingness to collaborate and contribute to a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care Apply Unless noted above, applicants MUST be authorized to work in the US without Visa Sponsorship.
