The Cash Accountant position is Full Time/40 hours Monday - Friday This position will be located at Prestige Care's corporate office in Vancouver, WASalary Range:
$70,000 - $90,000 DOE and Seniority with Prestige Care16 Days of Paid Time Off Annually7 Paid HolidaysComprehensive Benefit PackagePOSITION SUMMARY The Cash Accountant serves as avital component in maintaining accurate cash flow management within theorganization by overseeing cash transactions, reconciliations, and reporting.
The Cash Accountant ensures financial stability and compliance with regulatory standards, contributing to the overall financial health of thecompany.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Tracks,analyzes, and posts daily bank activity to into the accounting software andreports on cash receipt trends to thefinance department and updates the Accounts Payable (AP) check registers for deposits daily.
2.
Partners with field accounting team to ensure proper recording of cash receipts and returns in PointClickCare (PCC).
3.
Reconciles cash suspense accounts monthly and coordinates corrections with business offices as needed.
Analyzes cash receipts and partners with the field accountingdepartment to re-route deposits, as needed, for compliance.
4.
Tracks non-compliant deposits and coordinates corrective transfers with the finance department.
5.
Makes deposits for Central Support office and posts transactions in the accounting software.
6.
Conducts bank reconciliations as assigned.
7.
Manages credit card contracts for Accounts Receivable cash receipts and provides assistance to community team members.
8.
Creates new Accounts Payable vendors in accounting software.
Ensures accuracy and completeness.
9.
Submits CapEx reimbursement requests to lenders and tracks assets for timely reimbursement.
Track assets to ensure reimbursement requests are maximized andtimely.
Report CapEx reimbursement status monthly to Finance Team.
10.
Reviews and monitors compliance for purchase card programs and cash expense reimbursements.
11.
Generates Medicare Provider Statistical & Reimbursement (PS&R) reports upon request and assists in other cost reporting projects asassigned.
12.
Maintains unclaimed property records and ensures timely filings according to state requirements.
13.
Orders bank supplies for locations as needed.
14.
Acts as a subject matter expert on cash management.
Provides direction and guidance as requested.
15.
Provides exemplary customer service in all interactions with Prestige team members, vendors, and outside representatives.
16.
Maintains professional knowledge of accounting trendsand best practices.
Practices technical and professional self-development, including staying informed of industry trends, financial regulations, and accounting compliance.
17.
Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Minimum of 3 years combination of cash management and accounting experience.
Excellent written andoral communication, and problem-solving skills.
Must be well organized.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred.
EDUCATION Associate degree in accounting, finance or related field or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training, and experience.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
