Rate of Pay is $26.
00/HR.
The Schedule will be 2nd Shift Monday - Friday 12:
30pm-9:
00pm, Overtime is available often.
DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Under general supervision, operates forklifts, front skid steer and Front-end loaders.
Also, will have other duties including picking up garbage, cleaning machines, and directing traffic.
Operates various types of equipment for the site.
Promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
Run and maintain the Sort line machine to produce optimum efficiency while also adjusting on the fly as needed to ensure quality standards are met and maintained May supervise part-time, temporary, or seasonal employees Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen Loading recycles materials in a hopper Performs routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking oil, water, and tires.
Promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
Operates MRF sorting equipment on sort line; conveyors, trommel, magnetic separators, eddy current separators, disc screens, air classifiers, etc.
for the purposes of developing products for return to the WTE Facility and/or developing end products for secondary markets or re-use.
Provides manual sorting and spot checking of all waste that enters the MRF.
Monitors the filling and removal of product containers to storage areas or end processing (baling) areas and provides information to MRF Operators.
Informs MRF Operators regarding equipment operations by monitoring equipment, including listening, watching, observing vibrations, etc.
Maintains and records.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
Exposed to different weather year-round.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Extensive physical activity.
Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 to 75
pounds.
Ability to operate heavy equipment, skid steer and forklift safety.
Knowledge of light and heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED 3-4 Years' Experience in operating Forklifts or Heavy Equipment.
