Job Purpose
Responsible for the controls engineering (production and R&D) for robotic palletizing and automated systems.
Essential Job Functions:
Programs systems and related equipment using PLC ladder logic and robot sequence programs. Defines controls required to operate robot and equipment according to speed and reliability requirements. Programs Human Machine Interface (HMI) using appropriate software package.
Designs and configures electrical systems using AutoCAD. Generates functional layouts of electrical components with consideration of overall system performance.
Responsible for projects from start to finish by working with customers and internal teams for on-time completion of projects.
Generates Bills of Materials for systems and subsystems to a high degree of accuracy and within established deadlines.
Ensures product quality by thoroughly testing systems and equipment toEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
