JOB PURPOSE
Updates and monitors the General Ledger: follows up to ensure account accuracy and communicates significant variances.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsible for General Ledger and financial reporting
Review expense account activity for accuracy and appropriate entry.
Prepares journal entries as needed.
Verifies accuracy of journal entry accounts and activities.
Prepares and distributes monthly report of department expenses. Follow-up and respond to inquiries from department managers on monthly report.
Prepares and distributes assigned monthly financial reports.
Reconciles and verifies accuracy of assigned General Ledger accounts.
Assists in preparation of annual audit documentation. Follow-up and respond to inquiries from auditors.
Review manual invoices entered by Accounts Payable team.
Verify the accuracy of the supplier invoice number, amount, date, etc.
Verify theEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
