Our database team is looking for a senior level DBA to join the team. We need someone who can bring their technical expertise and team building skills to our IT infrastructure and make an immediate positive impact!
The DBA team works closely together, supporting over 250 production databases; versions 2005, 2008 and 2008 R2, spread across Clustered, Non-clustered, physical and virtual servers.
As a valued member of the DBA team, you will play an integral role in every aspect of the team's success, from implementing new technology, to the necessary system administration to keep the company's 24 x 7 infrastructure alive and well.
We've got our work cut out. There are numerous planned application rollouts this year, as well as infrastructure projects such as SharePoint and BI stack work, upgrading to SQL Server 2012, and interfaces with SalesForce.com to name a few.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Comfortable working under moderate supervision. Activity and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
o Maintain database integrity and security by developing, documenting, communicating, managing and enforcing standards involving changes to database structure, data, procedures, and user access.
o Collaborate closley with other DBAs, Sys Engineers, Architects, Devs, and PM's to ensure compatibility of hardware, operating systems, database tools and applications.
o Disaster Recovery development or architecture
o Act as a resource for development and maintenance of Microsoft's SSIS, SSRS and SSAS.
o Ensuring database performance and availability through proactive monitoring and taking corrective actions in areas of disk space management, fragmentation of data, T-SQL code tuning etc.
o On call rotation participation, helping provide 24x7 support of database availability
o Keeping SQL Server instances at current patch levels or migration to new releases as appropriate.
o Collaborating closely with application development teams. Review and implement sound schema and index design.
o T-SQL code (create or review) for quality and executable efficiency.
o Experience using sound judgment when navigating through ambiguity.
o Standardize and create process, appreciating the need to remain flexible enough view a problem from different aspects.

AREAS OF EXPERTISE
o 5
years of SQL Server Administration experience with SQL Server 2008 and above.
o Database performance tuning technique experience.
o Troubleshooting in a complex technical environment experience.
o SQL Server backup using native, or third party tools. (Log shipping/mirroriing.)
o Preferred experience with SSIS, SSRS and SSAS.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
