We are currently seeking an Office Administrator to join our ranks. You will be responsible for internal tasks such as phone-calls, emails, and other issues that may arise or be assigned by members of management. Responsibilities Include:
Answer all incoming calls in a pleasant and professional manner. Ensure proper messages are taken and received by staff.
Ensure proper care of all visitors, including sign-in register
Receipt of all correspondences, including daily incoming, outgoing emmail and the registration, filing and distribution of the same
Maintain all filing systems for client files and office supplies invoices
Provide backup relief for various administrative duties during vacations, absences etc.
Arrange and coordinate management meeting and social functions as directed
Personal Qualities:
Acts with professionalism and integrity
Provides good service to internal and external clients
Drives excellent performance; meets objectives and deadlines
Retains accountability.
Skills/Knowledge/Qualifications:
Grade 12 education
Minimum one year work-related experience in an administrative role, preferably in the Marketing Industry
Basic understanding and comprehension of financial concepts and terminology
Ability to prioritize and handle several tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy
Ability to be professional in all situations, analyze those situations and obtain the proper assistance when needed
Proficient in the use office software programs such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
