JOB PURPOSE
Provide the design and drafting needs for the engineering department utilizing Autodesk Inventor and AutoCad software. Uses standard PDM (product data management) processes necessary to develop mold design concept, component drawings, assembly drawings, item masters, part specifications, and bills of materials necessary to manufacture our products.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Develops Mold graphical designs
Develops mold designs, from conceptualization to the release of production drawings
Produces engineering drawings (2-D and 3-D) required to support manufacturing and assembly requirements
Accurately depicts the relationships of components while identifying and placing appropriate dimensions, materials and tolerances within the equipment documentation
Uses engineering tools such as Autodesk Inventor and AutoCad to develop mechanical design and drawings
Develops item masters,Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
