Job Details:
JOB SUMMARY
Coordinates staffing function for nursing units, requests supplemental staff from outside agencies, maintains contracts and reconciles all agency invoices. Maintains current staffing data in the automated scheduling system and provides requested reports.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent

One year clerical experience in a healthcare environment with knowledge of staff scheduling (or equivalent education and/or experience)

Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills

Strong computer skills to include: word processing and accurate data entry (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and/or Outlook)

Well-organized

Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Ability to use independent judgment to make decisions

Ability to efficiently set/manage multiple priorities

Ability to perform reception, filing and answering multi-line phones

Ability to work in heavy volume, busy office

Medical terminology

Working knowledge of patient care services

Ability to learn and apply organization/department polices and procedures

Work requires ability to lift objects weighing 20 lbs or less
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
One year training after high school
Three or more years of hospital and/or staffing experience
Experience using staffing softwareEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
