JOB SUMMARY
Assists the Pharmacists in providing pharmaceutical care by managing medication distribution, filling medication orders, preparing IV admixtures, maintaining proper documentation and other duties within the scope of authority; maintains the provision of medication that ensures patient safety and desired clinical outcome; the core values of Compassion, Excellence, Integrity, Teamwork, Safety and Respect are integrated comprehensively into the work environment; maintains current competency requirements, both initial and targeted.
REQUIRED
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent with WA State Board of Pharmacy Technician training or concurrent enrollment in an accredited school of pharmacy

years' hospital pharmacy or IV admixture experience or entering first year of PharmD schooling or may have equivalent combination of education and/or experience
WA State Pharmacy Technician Certification (VA), WA State Pharmacist Intern Registration (IR) or currently enrolled in a WA State Board of Pharmacy approved Pharmacy Technician training program
Good oral and interpersonal communication skills
Strong customer service skills
IV admixture skills
The ability to prioritize and coordinate with others to meet team goals
Computer skills to include data entry
Attention to detail
Working knowledge of pharmacy practices and inventory control of pharmaceuticals
Knowledge of pharmacy math
Work requires the ability to lift objects weighing 10 lbs or less
