POSITION TITLE: ASSOCIATE PRINCIPAL (.500 FTE) /TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT (.500 FTE) (HELA)

DESCRIPTION -
Responsibilities:
Influence a school culture conducive to continuous improvement for students and staff.
Assist with developing, implementing and monitoring procedures and practices which promote a safe and orderly environment.
Provide leadership in the development, implementation and evaluation of the data-driven plan for improvement of student achievement.
Assist instructional staff in aligning curriculum, instruction and assessment with state and local learning goals.
Monitor, assist and evaluate staff implementation and support of the School Improvement Plan, effective instruction and assessment practices.
Assist with the management of human and fiscal resources to accomplish achievement goals.
Communicate and partner with school community members to promote student learning.
Provide leadership and supervision of activities and/or athletics.
Assist with building management in the areas of discipline and general building.TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT:
Work under the direction of the Director of Technology.
Support professional development in a Learning Management System.
Support professional development in a content management system.
Support/train/coach staff in the use of technology.
Support/train/coach staff in the use of eVAL.
Participate in the Technology Committee.
Other Duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Valid Washington Administrator Certificate is required.
Teacher experience at the secondary school level.
Evidence of skill in human relations.
Successful experience in working with staff in the improvement of instruction.
Successful experience in the development of curriculum.
Preferred training in assessment, literacy and mathematics.
Preferred knowledge of Workshop approach to instruction.
Experience in facilitating and implementing professional learning communities.
Knowledge of COmmon Core State Standards.TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT:
Knowledge and experience with eVAL.
Knowledge and experience with emerging technologies.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Employment is on a conditional basis pending completion of a state and national background check.
Effective Date:2014-2015 School Year Salary:$89,873 - $99,859
Benefits:Per Negotiated Agreement Work Year:219 Days Per Year, 8 Hours Per Day

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
