JOB SUMMARY
Assists in the preparation and presentation of meals; Performs food delivery duties to include participating as part of the patient tray assembly team; delivering patient food carts to designated units; supporting front-line staff who have direct customer contact; Performs dish room duties
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent

years experience in a commercial food service operation or equivalent education and/or experience

WA State Food and Beverage Service Worker s Permit

Good interpersonal communication and customer service skills

Ability to read and follow instructions and safety precautions

Knowledge of dish room/janitorial operation

Understanding of safe and sanitary food handling practices

Customer service skills

Basic computer skills that allow completion of mandatory education and accurate entry of work hours, Ability to juggle multiple priorities

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently or as part of a team

Work requires ability to lift objects weighing 50 lbs or less and push loaded food carts
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to communicate orally

Knowledge of various patient dietsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
