Tasks
An Intern position provides a hands-on learning experience directly related to responsibilities that transfer to skills needed in a full-time position. The opportunity is available to develop, participate and learn key roles and functions within project design management operations. Our interns are exposed to a variety of responsibilities held by our entry-level employees including: Support of design-build pursuits and design management activities Collecting past costs for design of infrastructure work Project design document/data management Design-build management administrative support Design performance and project controls measurements and reporting
Requirements
The successful candidate should possess the following
Qualifications: Must be pursuing a degree in Engineering or have Computer Aided Drafting and Design experience Ability to quickly learn new software applications Demonstrated work ethic Good written and verbal communication skills Be willing to fully participate in job assignments at the district office or job site to which the intern is assigned Be able to actively participate and contribute in a team environment
