JOB SUMMARY
The Security Compliance Analyst is responsible for supporting the goals, strategy and methodologies of the IST Security program in alignment with regulatory compliance requirements, policies, and risk management standards. The Security Compliance Analyst performs an array of security services including user provisioning, audits, and data analysis. The Security Compliance Analyst contributes lasting value by protecting patient and caregiver privacy, confidentiality, and security.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsible for supporting the alignment of IST security solutions with IST strategy and operations, in support of company goals. Provides effective and compassionate communication to internal and external stakeholders/customers, ensures goals are met, provides status updates, and conducts risk assessments, security audits and analysis as necessary. Ensures a high level of customer service across the organization.
Support integration of systems, applications, processes, access accounts (IAM/RBAC) and technologies, based on business and technical requirements, and exceeding Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for the IST Security team.
Share responsibility for provisioning (IAM/RBAC) of Internal/External User setup and activation, changes, and termination. Supports On-boarding and Integration of new Departments, Organizations, and/or Facilities. Assigns temporary and emergency access as required for Internal and External Users.
Maintain responsibilities of assigned area; ensure continuity and quality of services; prepare long and short-range goals for assigned projects; support the development of policies and procedures for assigned area.
Support established system application audit policy and procedures, perform regulatory audits of security and privacy access, and maintain logs and reports of audits completed. Report findings to IST Security management and appropriate Breach Teams.
Provide service support to IST and other customers for information security policy, procedures, Identity Management (IAM/RBAC), Confidentiality Agreements, and in providing caregiver security training, education, and awareness services. Coordinate with Human Resources, IST, and other caregivers to assure access authorizations meet the minimum necessary and need to know requirements for caregivers to perform the jobs. Responsible for collaborating in the development and implementation of an organizational awareness in depth culture.
Collaborate with IST development teams for continuous improvement to the security program. Responsible for analyzing and documenting resource requirements for assigned scope of responsibilities. Responsible for knowledge capture, process, and information management within the scope of responsibilities.
Performs other duties as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Information Technology, or relevant field. Equivalent education/experience may substitute for degree.
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
Minimum of five years of related IST experience, with two years of application security and auditing experience, preferably including health information experience.
IAM/RBAC experience preferred (Level 1/Fair Warning)
Knowledge of current applications and trends in information security technology as related to healthcare is required.
OTHER SKILLS:
Good knowledge in IAM technologies (Active Directory, LDAP, etc.).
Clear understanding of confidentiality and security of information.
Knowledge and Development of RBAC.
Working knowledge of and strong experience with web applications (Level 1) and SQL database query tools.
Ability to maintain a high level of process quality improvement and consistency.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills are required.

Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and conflict resolution skills are required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
