Report Engine Development Engineers Manufacturing - Vancouver, WA at Geebo

Report Engine Development Engineers

Company Name:
Arca24.com
Salary period: Annual
We need incredibly talented and experienced Haskell engineers to join our top secret (not really) software mission.
You'll join our elite team of engine developers. Awe-inducing code-crackers by day, functional programming pun-hackers by night. You provide the backbone to our infrastructure. The honeycomb for our hive. The rock solid foundations for our thirty-story, glass paneled, lava-side volcano lair with BBQ patio, pool, and Bat Cave.
You thrive in doing the really complicated stuff. Your fellow engineers revere you, your team leaders love you, and sales and marketing have no idea what you do. You think in ways that leave others miles behind. Mathematics is a familiar tongue. You're so good at problem-solving, the NSA has a direct line. You know that the devil is in the detail, but so are you. You are a master at functional programming and get excited by the prospect of modelling powerful calculations for high-performance parallel execution over large datasets. (Seriously, sales and marketing have zero idea about what you do).
You think enterprise software is every bit as exciting as consumer tech and you can't wait to get into the weeds with our relational databases.
We need you to:
Help us to build a report and data processing engine for D&B cloud-based applications
Model powerful calculations and high-performance, parallel execution over large data sets involving data from relational databases and other sources
Investigate alternative database technologies based on performance and fitEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
