Alarm Operator/Dispatcher

Established Vancouver, WA based Security Company with over 35 years of business is looking for a candidate to join our team of Alarm Monitoring Operators.
We are currently accepting resumes for Part-Time Graveyard employment. Applicant must be willing to help cover all shifts (day, swing and graveyard) to include weekends and holidays.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
Monitoring alarm systems for residential and commercial customers
Utilizing strong customer service skills in a fast-paced environment
Responding to multiple phone lines
Prioritizing and reacting to multiple communications
Multi-tasking with quick and decisive responses to service situations
Reacting calmly and paying close attention to detail under stressful conditions
Qualifications:
12 months of related call center or dispatching experience
Must have strong communication skills
Intermediate computer experience
21 yrs of age or older
High School Diploma or GED
Verifiable employment history
Flexibility and reliability are a must!!
Ability to read, write and communicate clearly in English
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Clear criminal background check
Negative drug test (pre-employment and on-going)
This position starts at $11.00 an hour, with a $.50 per hour bonus incentive based on attendance/performance, with opportunity to advance after 90 days.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
