Milan brown with saddle interior.
History:
Built in October of 1977 this pristine example had long term ownership by a couple before the current owner purchased it in July of 2021.
The car has been cared for and it shows.
The current owner is a collector and keeps all his cars to high standard.
Comes with tags, books and records, quality restoration (see detailed photos).
Meticulously maintained and stored in heated garage.
Engine & Transmission:
Strong V8 that runs and drives very well.
Automatic transmission shifts smoothly.
Very dry and clean underneath.
This car received anything it needed over its lifetime.
Records on work done.
It is obvious this restoration was a labor of love, very well sorted car.
Body:
High quality paint job in the original Milan Brown Metallic DB-404.
I have been to many car shows and frequent Pebble Beach car week and am very meticulous about paint, I would grade this as a 9.
2 on a scale from 1-10 this car is very well done.
No rust.
Body panels are all straight, I took extensive photos to show how beautiful this paint is (see detailed photos), one small 3mm size paint chip on the driver side rear quarter panel (see photos).
No road blast or rock chips.
Gaps are straight, rubber, chrome, glass are good, lenses are clear with no cracks, I took detailed photos of each one to show the great condition.
Euro headlamp in pristine condition.
Bumpers are clean.
Michelin tires are new with 2022 date codes.
Comes with both hard and soft tops.
Hard top rubber, paint and headliner in new excellent condition with new clamp down hardware.
Back glass window has a small crack in the corner at the bottom and defroster connection is missing.
The soft top is in new condition and fits prefect around the boot.
Perfect is a word I never use but this soft top operates and fits better than any SL I have ever seen and I have owned several.
Soft top tray is clean and dry.

Interior:
Gorgeous interior completely gone through.
Clean carpet, nice door panels, I took detailed photos of the bottom of the doors to show the solid condition.
A/C blows cold.
Aftermarket stereo with remote.
Dash is very clean and has one small crack at the bottom right of bezel (see photo).
Wood is great, steering wheel looks like it did when it rolled off the showroom floor.
Seats are new and very comfortable, one small wear mark on driver seat (see photo).
Dash instruments, Speedometer, temp gauge, gas gauge, volt meter and oil pressure all work as they should.
Mirrors are clean.
Trunk is nice with spare tire, jack and tools.
Battery compartment is clean.
